In 2020, after three years of hard work, our studio grew exponentially. Without even noticing, we were suddenly directing projects for internationally renowned clients that pushed us to gather and lead larger-scale teams for more complex projects.

We developed into a more powerful and skilled team. But with each new project, our own visual identity became outdated, failing to both reflect the studio's new reality and validate the caliber of the work.

We then embarked on an introspective journey that helped us realize we needed to address some important issues, starting with the need to describe our current situation, specify our fundamental communication needs, weigh the benefits and drawbacks of our status, and finally pursue a diagnosis of our condition. The result was total miscommunication. Multiple things needed to be adjusted and reviewed.

Following our strategic thinking, we came up with a hypothesis: if we reframed our communication style with an identity that could reflect our growth, quality of work and service, and to capitalize on the variety of the projects we lead as a key differentiator, we would be able to accurately position the studio as a legit competitor in the target market.

This change of mindset was not only outward: we defined core company values, developed a mission and vision, and illustrated a methodological work proposal to achieve the results we were pursuing. Finally, we created a list of the number of design pieces we needed to develop. We were being reborn.

The following is a recap of all the processes and designs we worked on to make this a reality. It took us a while to merge it all into this case study, so we are happy to finally be able to share it with the world.

Cheers!
